Do I need a credit card for the free edition?

The plugin itself is $0. Your AI provider may require its own billing setup before an API key can make paid API requests.

Do I need ChatGPT Plus?

No. AI Toolkit Pro connects through an API. ChatGPT subscriptions and OpenAI API billing are separate.

Can I use Claude instead of OpenAI?

Yes. AI Toolkit Pro supports Anthropic Claude as well as OpenAI, with one provider active at a time.
